Audrey Hepburn was bad casting. Apart from the fact her singing was dubbed, her Cockney accent was dreadful. Her early liza wasn't a feisty street smart young woman So her transformation was unbelievable. Such a pity that the producers did have the courage to cast Julie Andrews in the role

My father loved this movie and was a Rex Harrison fan - yes, the movie didn't stay true to the original work of Shaw but Harrison and Hepburn probably delivered their greatest performances as actors.
